Bought in reasonable condition in 2023 it wasn't many weeks before it was in pieces. Inspired by the 1957 original Sportster it was decided to make a tribute. Finally we'd got another Harley!
Using the usual suspects for parts and paint we set about doing the photoshop design and sourcing parts.
Six months of work and Cheyenne finishing her final year on her Forensic Psychology degree left Dad to do the dirty work and cleaning the aluminium (that's 'a loo min eum'), while Cheyenne researched, found the parts she wanted, stripped the original bike, cut up mudguards, fettled bits, and fitted new....
It's pretty good and has been well received by most all who've seen it.
